Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Ueno Okachimachi

For our purposes, great location if arriving from Narita Airport via Skyliner Express after a long flight..quieter area if you don’t want full on Tokyo. As with almost everywhere in the city there’s plenty of convenient public transport options within walking distance so being a bit further out doesn’t restrict you navigating the city conveniently. Modern clean rooms with everything you need. Rooms we chose were ‘compact’ but slightly larger than average Tokyo hotel room in this price range..would recommend going for a twin room if you need more space for baggage etc..

Lobby layout is user-friendly and many seats for customers to wait for check in time. PERFECT

Location was good, only about 750m to the train station. The room was very small, but normal for Japan. Reception was open very late which helped us, as we had to check in late.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Assisted me every way they could.

Very nice location, easy to take metros for destinations; room is small, but good enough for tourism purpose; typical breakfast, meets expectation.
